GATE 2021 exam is going to be organized by the IIT, Delhi. Board allows such applicants to correct their information’s or exacting. Here we providing details about GATE 2021 application correction and How to make correction details.

GATE 2021 Application Correction:

The applicants will be applied for to attend the fault marked on GATE 2021 application form immediately after the close of application procedure.
Gate application correction will get started from the month of November 2021.
Corrections of the form can be done in Name, and DOB, information of Parents/Guardian, Correspondence address and Qualifying degree Details.
Applicants can correct/edit or complete their GATE 2021 Application Form information through GOAPS login.
The application correction can be done in some fields of personal, academic & address details.

Correction Fields:

Gender	Male to Female: Status can be changed, but no refund of FEE. Female to Male: The difference of Rs. 750 to be paid.
Category	SC/ST to Gen/OBC: The difference of Rs. 750 to be paid. Gen/OBC to SC/ST: Status can be changed, but no refund.
PwD Status	NO to YES: Status can be changed, but no refund (Scribe status has to be captured). YES to NO: with fee as applicable Dyslexia and other similar learning disabilities: Status can be changed with valid proof.
Dyslexia and other similar learning disabilities	NO to YES: Status can be corrected with valid proof. YES to NO: Status can be corrected.
Details of Parents / Guardian / Correspondence address	As per the document submitted in an application
College name and location, Roll No., Registration No.	As per the document submitted in the application

How to Make Corrections of the form:

Applicants go to the official site link.
The GOAPS website will be opened.
Candidate Enter their login information like Enrollment ID / Email Address & Password.
Solve the mathematics expression & click on the “Submit” button.
Now, applicants change or edit their application & make required changes.
Applicants take a printout of the application for further use.

Correction in Other Details

Candidates can make the edit in College, Name, DOB, & location, Roll No., Registration No., etc. here we are providing details of correction fees details:

Candidate must pay Rs./-750.

Change the Gender from Female to Male/Transgender (not applicable for SC/ST and PwD Applicants ).

Applicant must pay Rs./-750.

Change the Category from SC/ST to Gen/OBC (not applicable for Female and PwD applicants ).

Applicant must pay Rs./-750.

Change the PwD status from PwD to non-PwD (not applicable for Female and SC/ST Applicants).
