- Official website of the Directorate of Technical Education &Training, Odisha will issue the application form in the month of February 2021.
- The application/registration can only be submitted over online mode.
- Before filling up the form, must ensure your eligibility to appear in the admission procedure.
- Uploads scanned forms which are needed to be uploaded with application.
- Pay application fees & print system generated application form.

Fee can be paid online.
- For General Male Applicants : 450/-
- For Female Applicants : 350/-
- For SC/ST/PC Applicants : 200/-
- The fees once submitted, is non-refundable.
DET Odisha Polytechnic Counselling 2021 Eligibility Criteria:
For admission Diploma in Engineering & Technology
- The applicants should have passed Class 10th examination with 35% marks or its equivalent.
- Applicants must have pass with the subject at the qualifying examination with Science, Mathematics, & English.
- The minimum age criteria is 14 years for first year diploma courses in engineering except mining & drilling.
- No upper age limit
For Admission Lateral Entry Scheme in Diploma in Engineering & Technology
- The applicants must have completed Class 12th (Intermediate) or its equivalent examination with PCM subjects from recognised board.
- Applicants must have passed two years ITI in Engineering Trade with pass in Class 10th examination.
For admission in Film & TV Courses (Cinematography/Sound & TV Engineering/ Film and Video Editing):
- For Cinematography/Sound & TV Engineering, the applicants must have passed Class 12th Science with minimum 35% marks for recognised board.
- For Film & Video Editing course, applicant should have passed Class 12th with minimum 35% marks from recognised board.
- The age limit is 16 to 28 years as on 01.06.2021.
- Three years age relaxation given to the applicants belonging to SC/ST category.
For Admission Diploma Courses- Non-Engineering
- Modern Office Management: Applicants must have completed Class 12th from recognised board or its equivalent examination in any stream.
- Pharmacy: Applicant must have done Class 12th Science Examination from recognised board.
- The applicant must obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics and obtained at least 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination.
- Hotel Management and Catering Technology: Applicants should have passed Class 12th Examination from in any stream recognized by board.
- The applicant must obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate securing at least 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination.
- There is no upper age limit
- Minimum age limit is 16 years.
Result/Merit DET Odisha 2021 Polytechnic Exam:
The admissions for DET Odisha will be made on the basis of merit list. Applicant can download merit list from official site i.e. www.dtetorissa.gov.in.
Counselling/Admission DET Odisha 2021 Polytechnic Exam:
Counselling will be held in the month of July 2021. Selected applicant will be called for counselling on scheduled date & time.
