Applicants who must be graduates from a recognized institution as of 01.01.2021 are eligible.
- Age as of 01/01/2018.
- General Category (Male) Candidate: 20 years to 37 years old (maximum).
- BC & OBC Category (Male) Candidate: 20 years to 40 years old (maximum)

Bihar SI 2023 Selection Procedure:
Preliminary Exam:
- Number of Question papers: 1
- Total marks: 200
- Total Question: 100
- Time period: 02 hours
- The question will cover topics related to General Awareness, GK, Reasoning, Maths, and Hindi
- Those applicants who will secure greater the 30 marks will be called for Main Exam.
Main Examination:
- Number of question papers: 2
- Paper 1 (General Hindi) carries 200 marks
- Total Question: 100
- Applicants must secure 30% marks
- Paper 2 (General Awareness, General Science, Indian History, Indian Geography, Maths, Civics) carries 200 marks.
- Total Marks: 100 marks
- Time Period: 02 hours
- Negative marking is permitted (0.2 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer)
- Selected applicants will be called for Physical Endurance Test.
